Wales Sustainable Business Summit (4)

Rob Lewis, Regional Chairman at PwC talking about their commitment to sustainability. Will Day: If planet earth was a company and we were its shareholders, would we really sit by as we eroded its capital?

It costs $45bn a year to restore earth's ecosystems; up to $4tn to replace the services. 40 years of oil left, with materials running out, and huge opportunities as we learn how to recycle what we have. We're going to have to rethink our infrastructure as we work out what kind of infrastructure we need for a secure future. The next half century is going to bring dramatic change, that will need intelligent people to stand up and be counted, thinking for the long term and acting for the short. What are the risks and resilence impacts for your organisation. Our way of life is under threat from our way of life.
